Good
- Low fee, and nothing to pay in year one
- Partner offers on apps people use weekly
- RuPay variant works on UPI
Watch out
- 1 point per ₹200 is a token reward rate
- Every offer has a monthly cap and a minimum order
- BookMyShow offer needs ₹25,000 of quarterly spend from Nov 2026
- No fuel surcharge waiver
What it's worth in a month
If you use every offer once at its cap: two Zomato orders (₹240), one Blinkit order (up to ₹250), one Paytm bill (up to ₹150) and BookMyShow (up to ₹100). That's a ceiling of about ₹740 a month, and most people will use a fraction of it. Points add almost nothing.
The catch
Every benefit is a discount with a minimum order and a monthly cap, and Axis tightened several in 2025 and 2026: the Zomato minimum went from ₹200 to ₹499, and from 1 Nov 2026 BookMyShow needs ₹25,000 of spend in the previous three months. The "lifetime free" label applies only to certain channels that Axis doesn't name, so expect the ₹250 fee unless your offer says otherwise in writing.
Who it suits
A first or second card for someone who orders on Zomato and Blinkit every week and wants a low-cost card. If you want rewards on everything, look at the SBI Cashback card instead.
Applying
After the online form, most banks ask for a short video KYC call. Keep your original PAN card, a white sheet of paper and a pen ready. Here's how to get through it first time, and how to resume if you stopped midway.
