What it's worth
The core benefit is PayEazy: pay your restaurant bill through the EazyDiner app and get an extra 20% off, up to ₹500, three times a month. Used fully, that's up to ₹1,500 a month on top of the restaurant's own EazyDiner deal. Two consecutive bills at the same restaurant within 120 minutes count as one.
Everyday rewards are weak: 2 points per ₹100 at ₹0.20 a point is about 0.4%.
The paid Signature version
IndusInd also sells an EazyDiner Signature card for ₹2,999 a year, with 12 months of Prime, 25% off up to ₹1,000 per bill and higher rewards. It only makes sense if you eat out often enough to use most of that each month. This review covers the free Platinum card.
Who it suits
Anyone in a city with plenty of EazyDiner partner restaurants who eats out at least once or twice a month. Keep a separate card for everyday spending.
Applying
After the online form, most banks ask for a short video KYC call. Keep your original PAN card, a white sheet of paper and a pen ready. Here's how to get through it first time, and how to resume if you stopped midway.
